'Delightful managers and staff, ready and eager to help. The room (3) itself was beautiful and cosy. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bedsheets smelled lovely. The shower was amazing, the bathroom gorgeous. The general decor of the room and bathroom were lovely. I would definitely stay here again! Unfortunately I didn’t have time (I was working) to sample the food, but I definitely will next time! If you have accessibility needs, let them know way ahead of time as most of the rooms are...

'I stayed overnight at The Pheasant Inn with my partner. I can only describe my experience as above expectations, The whole hotel is pleasantly decorated and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, polite and the restaurant was fantastic. Generally speaking I tend to book what's available on the booking platforms but having found this gem, will actively search for availability at The Pheasant Inn before trying anywhere else.'

'The Royal presents itself impeccably. It has quality everywhere you look. Our room was immaculate and food quality didn’t let us down. However, our experience at breakfast was a little disappointing as everything was being cleared away before we had finished eating!! And our charges to the room were taken from my credit card without any prior consultation. Still waiting for an email of my bill which was promised? All just seemed a bit unprofessional?'

'From easy parking, ease of checkin, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed. Hot drink making facilities and a nice addition of water in the mini fridge, access to a dining area downstairs with microwave, hot drink facilities and a toaster was all you needed. The price reflects the absence of breakfast supplied and to be honest, we preferred this option. Great value for money. We will be back! '

'Had a lovely stay, self check in was simple - detailed instructions were sent the day before. The apartment was immaculate. Furnished nicely with a well equipped kitchen. Fabulous location right in the centre yet out of the way enough to not be loud. Would recommend. '

'Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. We were most impressed by the staff; all of whom were very friendly, professional...

'Excellent central location. Lovely clean, modern room. Small issue with gaining access with the code to the room but quickly resolved with a phonecall. Great stay amd would return. '
