Mountainview Boathouse Apartment.

LOCATION: 4 miles from Delta Junction city center.

This apartment is attached to a boathouse with a partial view of the Alaska Range on a wooded lot with nice walking trails. It is situated on the lot next to where the owners reside. The apartment has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and one bathroom. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen with stove, microwave and a full sized refrigerator. A futon in the living area converts to a double bed if needed. The apartment has a small fully enclosed covered porch for bug free enjoyment. In the summer, two provided cots can be placed in this covered porch if needed. A flat screen TV with DVD library is available for entertainment. There is no cable or Wi-Fi provided, but free internet is available at the local library. The apartment is equipped with a small capacity washer/dryer unit.

The apartment fits 4 comfortably, however because we do have the two cots available to sleep in the covered porch in the summer, travelers of 6 are welcome to stay if they are comfortable with "cot sleeping". There is no extra cost for the additional two people.

Note concerning "no Wi-Fi". If your phone provider has coverage in the Delta Junction area, you can use your phone as a Hot Spot in order to get internet access for a laptop. AT&T has great coverage in this area.
