'A perfect place, centrally located, and lots to do in the Decorah area. The house had everything we needed, and it was very clean and comfortable. The hosts, Amy and Jackson, were very responsive, and check-in was effortless. I highly recommend this property. If you are adventurous, you can drive up to “Pikes Peak” State Park in McGregor, Iowa, with its breathtaking views of the Mississippi River. 'This unique place has it all: charm, class, comfort, beauty, and fun. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a gorgeous staircase leading to most of the rooms. Our room was spacious, with a luxurious bathroom. The gourmet kitchen is equipped for anything and everything with seating for eight. 'We really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. Beds were comfortable. I have a bad back and really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub after a day of hiking and also enjoyed the massage chair. Host was very quick to answer any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again. '

'Clean and comfortable. The finishes aren’t fancy but everything worked and nice to have off street parking and private yard. The steps to bedrooms 2 & 3 are pretty steep so might not work for everyone. Lots of TV’s so everyone can watch what they prefer. Kind and communicative hosts. I enjoyed the 1968 book celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Lime Springs for a little local history.'

'We have stayed at the Elkader Jail House many times and the Harstad Suite is a great room for the 4 of us. The large kitchen and family space on the first floor provide plenty of space for everyone to get together and relax. Its nearby my family and takes the stress off anyone needing to make space for all of us to sleep. Its comfortable, clean and an easy to walk downtown. We'll be back soon!'
