'This was a "special birthday" holiday, to see some football and introduce my 13 year old grandson to London. The location of this flat is perfect -- it is possible to walk to many sites, the Underground is just a few steps away, and busses are easily accessible. We ate in. brought in "take away" (Indian, Thai -- amazingly good) and appreciated the host's suggestions. We managed, even though two of our party got sick along the way. Just note: the flat is 1000 sqare feet, so it can feel a little...

'What an amazingly placed site, such a picturesque place. It’s like a scene from a Christmas movie. The lodge itself was beautiful, clean and modern. Very, very warm inside. Having a hot tub in a secluded, sheltered decked area just outside your bedroom is just bliss, not to mention the sauna you can enter from your bedroom’s en-suite - heaven!Can’t believe we didn’t find this place sooner. Definitely coming back again.'

'What a beautiful gem this place is. Absolutely wonderful.So clean and well equipped ..... cosy too.Transport excellent. Bus at end of road straight into Heathrow and the London underground.Easy walk to train station to visit London or Windsor.15 minute drive to Legoland or Thorpe Park. Will definitely stay again with the kids! '
