'The buffet breakfast was excellent: there were wide choices to suit every taste. The reception staff were exceptional: we have seldom encountered such a welcoming, considerate team. They did all they could to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. During our stay, there was extensive building work being carried out on the campus -which resulted in diversions and restricted parking spaces - but this was obviously a temporary problem. '

'I liked the old world charm of Southern Cross, and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and there were some nice touches such as strawberries to put on our cereal at breakfast, home-made marmalade, and nice biscuits on the tea tray in our room. We appreciated these.'

'Great stay at the Brantwood b&b. Lovely room, comfortable bed and very friendly helpful host. Cant comment on the breakfast as we slept so well we missed it! Catherine was kind enough to offer toast and coffee so we didn’t go without any breakfast…highly recommend. '
