« Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. « The location is perfect for a visit to Stratford Upon Avon. The owner/manager Harry was on site to help us settle in and he followed up during the stay. The accommodations worked well with our group of five which included an active two-year-old. »

The house was cozy and warm, making it a great choice for a family winter getaway for a few days. However, there were a few minor details that could be improved, such as the TV remote lacking batteries (we had to purchase and replace them ourselves) and the kitchen knives being quite dull, which made them difficult to use. « My son and I visited with some friends and their kids for 1 night over the may bank holiday. The house has plenty of space and the kids enjoyed exploring and picking their rooms. It's close to a Budgins and fish and chip shop so food was easily available. We went to Stanwick Lakes which is only 20mins drive away and a giant free adventure play area. »
