"I booked two rooms for three nights because it included breakfast and parking space (and had a 9.0 as grade) to accommodate our visit to the Alsace region. Dislikes: - No service, no cleaning of room or refill of amenities for 3 nights. (Dear staff: Covid-19 pandemic has ended). It is also did not mention it during booking that there is no cleaning service at all. - Breakfast, is all you can eat, but very basic. Slices of cake was only for the nuns, not for the paying guests. :-( - Although the room and bathroom have been brought to this century, it is all very basic. - Our room’s (14) bathroom had a very bad smell from the shower drain. Needed to cover it with a towel. - No extras, e.g. one TV is in a shared common area for all the guests. No fridge, no water cooker, no coffee machine, no hair dryer in the room, but you can share one with the rest of the guests. - No airconditioning. - No mosquito/fly frames in windows. Likes: - The staff was friendly and provided checkin details as we would be arriving late. - Spacious clean rooms and common areas. Conclusion: I don’t understand why other guests gave this place a 9. I think it is worth a 6 and it is just a 2-star hotel. "
