Newly restored, the home has an awesome kitchen, living and sleeping accommodations to make your trip comfortable and memorable. The back yard boasts seating/dining, a great propane grill and a fire-pit that will have you enjoying your stay in no time. Located in Historic Downtown McKinney, you are minutes from the historic downtown square - where endless shopping, dining and entertainment await. The home has touches that pay tribute to some of the greats of the 60's and 70's - with the little details that make traveling easy and carefree. We loved our weekend here. The house had everything we needed. Coffee pot, all dishes, extra blankets, clean bathrooms, cute decor. So responsive to our needs. Had a shower rod fixed while we were gone. Cute backyard as well. Highly recommend staying here.

Cute!!

We arrived at night so it was a little difficult to see the house number and at first we were worried about the location. But once we entered the house we found everything as described and the neighborhood pretty quiet. Adorable little house. Very clean and it had everything we needed, Didn't get to use the backyard but looks like it would be fun to roast marshmallows around the fire pit. All in all would probably stay again in the future.

Great, quiet place near heart of McKinney

Loved our time here! Really quiet area that felt like an oasis from the hustle and bustle of McKinney. Clean linens, updated furnishings, and everything was nice. We loved all of the bedrooms! Although we didn't use the kitchen, it was well equipped in case anyone wanted to cook. The backyard was perfect for families. Would stay here again- easily one of my favorite VRBOs I’ve stayed in!

Small DIY

Overall we liked the property is was cute, but the owners are cheap and the place wasn't very clean. We found a medic syringe under the king bed. The homeowner had counted out and left very limited supplies: 3 dryer sheets, 3 tide pods, 2 trash bags, and 3 dishwasher pods for our week-long stay. There is No broom or vacuum in the house. The master bedroom, which is a converted one car garage, has an open electrical box and no smoke alarm. The backyard was beautiful and had firewood for the firepit which was our favorite part. The house is small and in a quiet neighborhood not to far from the historic district. I have very mixed feelings about this one. Given the cost I would have expected more amenities.
