'The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. 'Check in and check out were completely remote and extremely easy and convenient. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Wifi was fast, water pressure was good, parking easy. They also had a lovely little outdoor area to sit in. I would highly recommend stepping out at night to see the stars - we could see the entire milky way from the parking lot. The only little thing was that the A/C remote was a little hard to use. '

'The only way short of camping to be out in the middle of nowhere and experience the night sky and the quiet is at Hotel Luna Mystica. Also there was a fabulous pizza restaurant just a few miles away. We stayed five nights. The toilet in Spartacus was very cramped but it worked. All in all worth it. The staff is great and it is so nice to stay a place without all kinds of signs indicating not to do this or that.'
