'There was a slight mix up at the airport regarding transportation to the hotel. The staff exceeded my expectations in making things better than was needed. They not only upgraded my room, they also insisted on giving me the taxi fare. I was happy with the room upgrade.'

'Hoewel een kort verblijf van 2 nachten, een prima tijd gehad in het in historische centrum zeer centraal gelegen hotel. Ook van het straatverkeer geen last, mede omdat de straat relatief smal is. Bijzonder was dat die Zondag verplicht binnenblijven was vanwege de census( volkstelling) Uitsluitend militairen en politie op straat. Echter met het fijne hotel en de goede maaltijden was het niet echt rampzalig. Ook was het bijzonder dat het hele land vanaf vrijdagmiddag tot maandagmiddag drooggelegd...

'We felt very safe in the neighbourhood and there was a 24hrs reception. For us it was a plus that you could use the kitchen and fridge. The internet was fast and the shower hot & enough debit! Eggs, bread, fruit, fresh juice, ... for breakfast. What do you want more?'

'We were in Quito overnight, flying out the next morning, so we wer looking for a lower cost hotel. Tababel Land offered free pickup from the airport so was perfect for ourneeds. Small but cozy and well appointed room. Great helpon check in and in getting us a taxi in the morning. Only issue was that the phone number listed went to an odd sounding recording in Spanish. But we got connected and all ended well.'

The next morning at breakfast, we only saw coffee, toast, cereal, and fruit, so we thought that was all that was available.
