'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'This was the second time I stayed here this year while visiting my daughter. The staff has always been super friendly, the room clean, the breakfast always had a few warm items and was included in the room price so who can complain! Con’s, the room air conditioning blew very hard and cold at times, and it took a couple of times to tap my key to get into my room, but that could have been user error. Overall I enjoy staying here, which is why I chose to stay here once again.'

'While the rooms looked a little outdated, the beds were comfy, the pillows were great, and most importantly, the room was clean. The breakfast was typical, but tasty. Holiday Inn Expresses are quickly becoming one of my favorite places to stay!'

'The staff was very helpful, and the room was well maintained. I enjoyed my stay and will use this location again. The only thing that I did not like was that the ICE machine on the FIRST (1) floor was not repaired or replaced. The second (2) floor ICE machine did not work either. PLEASE repair these or replace them so we do not have to go to the third floor for ICE, thanks!'

'There is a train nearby and you can hear the train pretty often. We didn't mind, but I think it's worth mentioning since it was pretty loud and pretty often.'

'Went for breakfast and every table was dirty and the food counter. Worker was too busy on her phone and eating in the kitchen. Workers from the construction site are housed here and parking is crazy. We’ve stayed here many times but now it’s time to find a new place. Area has gotten well overdeveloped.'

'The lady at the front desk gets 5 stars! The hotel was apparently oversold and she had no rooms that had not already been paid for. But when she saw that my reservation was also prepaid, she found me a good room and said, "I will have to deal with this later." She did not need the added stress but was very kind and helpful through it all. My only issue which is no fault of anyone there but the water pressure was barely enough for a decent shower. And the hot water ran out after about 5...

'We checked in late, as a one night sleep, during our traveling south vacation. The room had everything that was advertised but wasn't as new or clean as the pictures convey. Our one queen bed was so worn out that my wife slept in a hole and I did a balancing sleep on the edge of bed trying to not fall in the hole on top of her.
