« Was a warm, well equipped house. Nice view. »

« Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady working in reception who was wonderful and very understanding when we accidentally booked the wrong date for checking out. The location was great in Seaview, walking distance to the sea with some lovely eating places...

« The farmhouse is very comfortable and has everything that you need. There are many pleasant dog walks close by and there is a stoney beach, which is only 20 minutes walk away, a favourite place for our dog and us, as there is also a very nice pub there, that does excellent food . I would definitely stay here again. »

« We'd thoroughly recommend this property, where you have everything you need (and more) for a week or two away from home. Very dog friendly, and just a short walk from a lovely park and onto a long, sandy beach where the dogs had a whale of a time. A good sized and secure back garden, and views over The Solent towards the mainland. We can not fault this property. »

« Great big house in a good location, close to shops and marina. Lovely and quiet. Had all the amenities you needed including big fridge/freezer, big beds, large dining area, washing machine, plenty of bathrooms, plenty parking space and a lovely private garden space for a hot tub rental.Our host was great and had the accommodation ready for us at our planned arrival time. We enjoyed our stay for the week and would recommend it to anyone coming to the solent. »

« Good location, very clean but stairs extremely steep which would be a big problem for the elderly/young and the garden is a trip hazard and needs attention. Having stayed in other properties in Ryde we dont consider it to be value for money as needs a refurb and don’t know how a family of 4 would cope with the bedrooms ! »

« What a wonderful home from home Hazeldene is and what a wonderful host Jan is - responsive and helpful. The house is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Plus a lovely large private garden that was great for our dogs and with every configuration you could want for relaxing and dining. Jan and her family have obviously worked hard to create this haven but clearly enjoyed thinking of every detail to make your stay fun and interesting, especially for young ones with lots of toys, books...

« Lovely house and will stay again - just missing some small touches like washing up liquid, shampoo, shower gel which we are used to in most Air B & B we stay at - almost like a small welcome pack. Location wise was perfect for us - local pub and lovely beach all within walking distance. »
