In de omgeving is niet heel veel te doen (maar met 35 graden wil je ook niets anders doen dan in het zwembad liggen): Je kan treintje rijden van Saint-Lieux-lès-Lavaur op een traject van 20 minuten naar Jardins des Martels (Botanische tuin), Heerlijk restaurant met panorama in Giroussens (Ned. sprekende ober) of de markt bezoeken op zaterdag in Lavaur. 'Ce lieu est un havre de paix . Accueil chaleureux et le propriétaire aux petits soins. Le jacuzzi chauffé a l’avance pour que l’on puisse en profiter dès notre arrivée . Le chalet est très bien aménagé et très propre. Tout était parfait et le lieu idéal pour les visites '
