'My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was affordable for the duration we stayed. The majority of this area (Mendocino/Ft. Bragg) is ridiculously expensive. We opted for an economic stay versus an expensive, luxury stay since we were going to spend very little time in our room. We stayed in room 319 on the second floor. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the harbor and highway 1. Be forewarned, this hotel is definitely outdated, but it had everything...

'Room was clean, room was nice. Amazing view!'

'There should be maintenance available on Sunday, which is the day we arrived and there was an electrical problem and no one to fix it until the next day. Even though it was not an ADA room, the bathroom was so small you could barely turn around and there was nothing to hold on to when getting into the shower not even a towel rack. The view is fabulous and the stay was otherwise good'

'Absolutely lovely! Our room was great very spacious and right outside plenty of grass area for our dog to run around. Has many Perfect spots to view the sunsets and access to private beach. We enjoyed our stay so much that we added another night. The staff were very friendly and super nice, they made our stay even better. Looking forward to returning again! '

'Parking was easy. We only interacted with the night employee and she was kind, and friendly. She gave great recommendations for local dining and was helpful. The property was clean overall, though the rooms were a bit dated (particularly the tub, sink). AC did not work in our room. This place is pet friendly.'

'We traveled with another couple and rented two cabins. The front desk manager, Steve, was very accommodating. Our bed was very comfortable and all the amenities were nice. It's all about the view and it was well worth it. The restaurant staff was very nice but their menu could use some upgrading, like more seafood and portions adjusted. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Rent #5 cottage, it's absolutely wonderful! '

'Clean room,pool area, quiet at night ,comfortable beds, breakfast was waffles,bisquit and gravy, yogurts toast bagels with cream chees ,eggs and sausage, juice and milk. The lady that did breakfast and the front counter while we were there was super kind a personable! Thank you for having us.'

'Guys on frontdesk were not very friendly. Just normal. Bathroom and bedroom needs renovation. For tĥis amount it should be better. Location is ok. '

'You get what you pay for. We got yelled at in the first 5 min by the person in the room next to us who said they were the General Manager. They said our young children were not allowed to run around inside. We were in first floor suite. The floors turned our socks black and were not swept. No paper towels on the paper towel roll, the sponges on the sink were filthy, only about a tablespoon of dish soap left in the bottle, only 3 towels for a party of 6, no shampoo or conditioner in dispensers in...

'It was a mother/daughter working weekend. Perfect location. We were at the JD House, queen guesthouse with a fireplace and were able to park right in front. We missed the wine and cheese which was disappointing, we’ll look forward to it next time. I We usually visit once a year so we will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely stay. '

'We kregen een kamer naast de wasruimte en de ijsmachine. De wasruimte zou sluiten om 9 pm maar om 10.30 pm draaiden de machines vrolijk door. De hele nacht een irritante bromtol van de machines. Al met al weinig slaap gekregen. Teleurstellend want daarvoor ben je daar.'
