'The drawer by the beds was full of crumbs never been cleared. The first night we had old stained and stinky pillows & after I complained one bed got new pillows. We had one towel each for 3 days that smelled like dirty feet. The outside had garbage which attracted the rats. This home needs a professional cleaning .'

'All the details of the renovation of this old hotel (oldest hotel in British Columbia) have resulted in a charming, pleasant and interesting place to stay. Our bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was charming. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. '

'Great location near the Fishermans Wharf. The property is quite old and so is the bed and furniture. Since it a residential house wurh quire some guests we found it a bit noisy. But the host was wonderfull and at this price it was fine to stay a night. We had to leave early for the airport so we couldn’t enjoy breakfast which is served between 8:30 and 9:30, but the house smelled like fresh baked bread!'

'Mooi uitzicht over heuvels, ruime kamer, schoon, met mooie keuken erbij. Er werd niet schoongemaakt tijdens 5 dagen verblijf - later bleek me dat er ergens een papiertje hangt waarop staat dat je het moet aangeven als je wilt dat je kamer verschoont wordt; dat mag iets duidelijker. Verder prima verblijf in fijn guesthouse.'
