  • Op een steenworp afstand van het strand is "China Swan" een huis met 3 verdiepingen met een geweldig overdekt dek. De veranda is perfect voor het bekijken van de zonsopgang en zonsondergang, evenals de lokale wilde paarden!

    Het huis ligt op 3 mijl van het strand waar de verharde weg eindigt bij Corolla. Een 4x4 voertuig is vereist! De rijomstandigheden op het strand variëren per uur, afhankelijk van verkeer, weer en getijden.

    Hoofdniveau omvat grote kamer, eetkamer, familiekamer met satelliet-tv, keuken en wasplaats. Omwikkeld overdekt terras, open zonneterras en afgeschermde veranda. Geniet van het uitzicht vanuit de hangmat en de schommelbank.

    Bovenste niveau heeft 3 slaapkamers. Flatscreen-tv in elke kamer. Slaapkamer heeft een eigen badkamer en uitzicht op de oceaan en het geluid. Een slaapkamer met twee bedden. Een slaapkamer met schipwacht ... zie de zonsopgang vanuit bed! Bovenste niveau heeft ook een complete badkamer met bubbelbad.

    Spelkamer op het lagere niveau met stapelbedden en slaapbank is geweldig voor het hele gezin. Lager niveau heeft een half bad, met een buitendouche.

    Geniet van de hoefijzerkuilen in de zijtuin.

Great location! The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed seeing the horses walking around, proximity to the ocean and the clear skies at night. First time in the Outer Banks and can’t wait to return.

Vacation was awesome! The house was for the most part clean! You could see some debris under the couches and beds. The host was very responsive to questions and check in process was smooth. Beach view was phenomenal! Kitchen was a tad small but workable!

China Swan had us swooning

The house and location were perfect for our beach vacation! Wild horses, wide open beaches and the hammock added to the adventure. Hope to make this a yearly trip!

This was our 4th summer vacation at China Swan and it did not disappoint. Location is ideal to see the wild horses.

Beautiful week with the horses

We really enjoyed staying in this home. Driving on the beach to get to the house was fun and seeing the horses almost daily was such a treat. We'll definitely be back!

Trip of a lifetime!

This was the perfect location for a beach getaway! The house is footsteps away from the beach and not too far from town. We saw wild horses every day! It was a home away from home!

This was our first time staying on the 4x4 beach and it was fantastic! The house was very clean and the owner was very responsive to my messages. The location was perfect - we saw horses everyday in the yard. It was a short walk/drive over the dunes to get to/from the beach. We were there with our 4 kids and DIL and we all had a great week! We will definitely be back!

Great Vacation Property

We really appreciated how well equipped this property was for our needs. The local horse herd was present all week, and the beach was not over crowded. A 4-wd vehicle and a tire pressure gauge is necessary for driving on the beach road to the house.

Great place to stay

We loved our stay in this location. The house was roomy and great for our family. The wrap around porch facilitated us being outside no matter which way the wind was blowing. Just a short walk over the dune and we were at the beach. Loved the wild horses in the yard or the area each day. Would definitely recommend

Everything was great apart from a couple concerns regarding housekeeping. There was a dirty sock found in the front living room by the dining room table along with a past renters pair of sweatpants in a dresser upstairs.

Great vacation

This was our first time driving on the beach and we loved it. House was nice and everything was clean. Note on the directions you can’t see mile marker 16 ( the state should have two of them up for each direction).

A great place to get away

A very nice house and a great location if you want to get away from the main bustle. Just be mindful of the tides. There is a house on the beach that can cause access challenges when it is high tide. I would give communication with host more than 5 stars if I could. He was very outstanding both before and during our stay.

Great house- loved our stay

This was our first time to Corolla and we couldn’t have picked a better house. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions. The size of the house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids, with plenty of extra space. The screened in portion of the porch was perfect on the rainy days. You can sit on the front porch and see the beach. We loved being able to walk a short distance to the waves. And the horses visited multiple times throughout our stay.
