    L'oasis de jardin est incroyable, offrant une grande piscine privée de 16 x 32 pour des journées ensoleillées ou un bain à remous pour des soirées de détente! La cour entière est FENCED IN pour vos bébés Furr, et tout est fraîchement dégagé pour 2019! Il y a beaucoup de chaises longues pour bronzer au bord de la piscine et beaucoup de cour pour les enfants et les chiens pour jouer et courir!

    Outre la vue magnifique sur l'océan, le niveau supérieur comprend également la grande salle avec le nouveau mobilier 2019 et des portes coulissantes donnant sur le pont côté mer! Profitez du lever du soleil et des brises de mer tout en prenant votre petit déjeuner! La cuisine et la salle à manger sont également au dernier niveau, ainsi qu'une chambre avec un lit Queen et une salle de bain complète. La Sun Room est en cours de conversion en salle de jeux avec table de billard. Elle est parfaite pour des soirées amusantes en famille ou un après-midi tranquille avec un grand roman!

    Le niveau intermédiaire est l'endroit où vous trouverez une chambre avec un lit Queen, une chambre avec 2 lits simples, une chambre avec un lit superposé en pyramide, un lit superposé régulier et 2 salles de bain complètes.

Great house and location, poor housekeeping

Our stay was great. We really enjoyed the house and location. The only negative was the cleanliness when we arrived. There were dog hair balls throughout the house that we had to vacuum and actually had sand in the beds. On the one twin bed there actually was a shoe print of sand on the sheet when we removed the bedspread. But other than that, it was a great week ad will consider renting again next year.

Perfect location and a great house for a smaller family with a dog. Nothing fancy, but who needs fancy when your location is perfect. Easy walk to the beach and the nature trail, and quick bike ride to the Corolla Lighthouse, Whalehead, a few restaurants, and most importantly the Beer Garden.

Perfect Corolla house for us!

This house is in the perfect location, just across the street from the beach and within a minute or two to the lighthouse, park and restaurants, as well as the 4x4. The hot tub was a bonus and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. The house was very clean. We will be back.

Cooper’s Annual Beach Trip

This was our second stay and it was even better than last year. This year my older sister (we are all seniors) joined us and really enjoyed her stay. This house and huge backyard is perfect for pet loving parents. Our 2-yr old mini Aussie “Cooper” loved playing in the backyard. I’m still sore from throwing balls and frisbees all week and our daily walks in the neighborhood and the beach. One of the best trips ever and we will continue to make this an annual trip that includes our four legged family member.

This home was in the perfect location, the home wasn’t the best looking home in the neighborhood but it has everything you need for a nice vacation. It was clean, had good space. However the negative was that the gas as well as the charcoal grill could not be used, this was a downer. The owner needs to consider putting some money into the home to make it a gem. The check in was easy, the property management was great. If you are a house in a wonderful location and don’t need all the jazz this is it! By the way, this property accepts pets and you would never know it. Thank you

Perfect place for our family beach week!

This was a great home for our family! This was our first time in OBX and we've got two little ones (ages 4 and 6). They were so excited about the whole time. The great thing about it was that it was right across from the beach so it was an easy walk to and from. We could also see the ocean from the home and we saw dolphins more than once. The house was clean, the pool was the perfect depth level for our little ones, we loved the hot tub too. The house was in the less busier part of OBX and it felt like a small town neighborhood feel. Plus we were only 10 minutes from the wild horses reserve so it was great to take the kids there. The only thing that is outdated about the home is the bathrooms.

Dog friendly

Be prepared for an old and dated house. But, I would rent again. You're so close to the beach, access is just 2 houses down. Though not beachfront, you have great ocean winds and sun rises. The back yard is what I love the most. It's massive and fendced in, the dogs had so much fun chasing each other and playing fetch. Then they would relax in the shade while we hung out in the pool and enjoyed the hot tub. Being off the main road and secluded, allowed the dogs to be off leash and really enjoy their surroundings. Also, the whole family really enjoyed the pool table.

Wonderful House and Views

This house was perfect for our family of eight and 2 dogs. We had ample space for everyone and a ton of deck room. One drawback was there wasn’t enough deck furniture on the main deck facing the ocean, and no furniture on the deck off the master suite upstairs. The pool was terrific and very clean upon our arrival. There was a heavy rain on Tuesday, and company came out to clean it on Wednesday. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking supplies. There was only one fridge and it was on the smaller side, but we had a big cooler to keep drinks cold so it wasn’t really a problem. The walk to the beach was very quick- I counted 170 steps from the driveway to the entrance walk on the beach 😊 Overall we had a great time and would recommend this home!

Great Location but pet owners beware - yard is not fido friendly

We were really excited to stay at this home because it was advertised as pet friendly with a big backyard. Unfortunately, the yard just wasn't usable for our dogs. It's full of sandspurs, and while it looks like the owners have tried to treat them (the centers were brown), there were still so many that they stuck in our dogs' paws, which was painful. They also clung to towels and clothes, making it tough for us to enjoy the space. What was disappointing is that the neighboring yards were perfectly fine—our dogs had no issues walking out front or in nearby areas. The problem really seemed to be concentrated in this backyard. There were also a couple of safety concerns for pets. Two pieces of wood were missing from the upper deck railing (tucked behind benches), but they left a gap big enough that our small dog could have slipped through. Because of that and the yard, we had to keep the dogs inside for most of the trip, which wasn't what we had hoped for. When we arrived, we also noticed a few housekeeping things—the kitchen floor was sandy, and there were some chalky-looking stains on a chair and the floor beside it. We cleaned those up ourselves, but it did take away from the first impression. We also found a strange object under a nightstand when plugging in a CPAP machine. The rental office picked it up after a few Days but we were never told what it was, which left us wondering. On the positive side, the location is fantastic. The house is close to stores, with easy access to two different beach walkways. The beach itself is beautiful, and the house offered plenty of beds and space for our group. Inside, while it shows some age, it's clear the owners have done upkeep and updating. Overall, we loved the beach and the location of the home, but if you're booking with pets (or kids who like to play outside), it's important to know the backyard isn't really safe or comfortable for them right now.

Needs lots of work

The house is much older than most houses in the neighborhood. It needs lots of work inside and out. The most urgent are the decks. They need replaced. They don't feel safe at all. There are pickets on the rail on the deck that are loose or not even nailed in on the bottom. Very dangerous if you had little ones with you. They could certainly slip through them. Inside the furniture is very stained. The upstairs bathroom ceiling needs replaced; it's peeling terribly. The kitchen is not equipped great. Also, the gas grill either didn't work or had no gas.

This home is in desperate need of updates. The beds are horribly uncomfortable! The kichen is from the 1980s and it is poorly stocked. The sink leaks too! The furniture was dirty, there are no blinds in most places and guests have to close curtains that are dragging the floor in filth! The bathrooms are so outdated and have the absolute cheapest shower heads! I regret booking this property as I have stayed in far better for the same amount of money. The only good thing I can say is the pool is nice and the fenced yard is great. Those are the only updates this poor old house has had in decades! Very disappointed

Addition to “wouldn't recommend”

I'm addition to the previous comments/problems… the main deck is rotting, boards are duct taped and some railings have nails pulled out and aren't even secure… our 5 year old sat on the deck, leaned against the railing and thank God he's not tiny enough to fall through or he would have when the railing gave way. Luckily I took pictures due documentation purposes (just in case)

Nice Features

Our family stayed here in July. There are some very nice features of this house, such as the pool, hot tub, fenced in yard (great for the dogs!), pool table, basketball hoop, good sized kitchen and bedrooms. There were also a few features that weren't so nice. The family room furniture was so stained and dirty that I had to throw sheets and blankets over them just to sit on them. The stairs are steep and are not fully equipped with handrails, so it could be a safety issue for elderly grandparents. An unfortunate incident during our stay - the rental company informed me of 4 work crews scheduled to come out for repairs our first full day there (July 4th). We waited pretty much all day at the house, due to our dogs, but no work crews ever showed up. It turned out to be a mistake (crews were sent to the wrong address), but you might want to check to see if work crews are scheduled to come out during your stay. Overall, I would rent this property again in the future as long as the furniture is cleaned.

First of all, let me say the house was fine. There were positive features like the proximity to the beach, the location, excellent fenced in yard and fun pool room. Here's where it lacked significantly: The house needs a face lift. It is old and worn and the living space is small Bugs! I go tot the beach a lot and expect bugs but this was ridiculous!!! Small master bath Outdated kitchen with no disposable And the stairs are treacherous… especially for a dog!

Great to be back!

We stayed in this property last year for a week. This year we stayed 2 weeks. The property was great! We had storms the first week and beautiful weather the 2nd. The management company did a wonderful job. The property was clean on arrival and pool was crystal clear. The pool was re-cleaned after the storms (lots of sand) without us having to contact anyone. It was fantastic. The maintenance company was in the area and stopped by to let us know the slats were loose from the storms on the deck (still storming). They fixed them promptly again without us having to email. The property was fully supplied with kitchen items for cooking meals. They had added mounted TVs in all the bedrooms. The TVs, billiard area and games supplied were very useful during the first week. It was a wonderful stay regardless of the weather!

Cooper’s first beach trip

This was our first trip to Corolla and our first time taking our pup. This property was perfect for our dog. The extra large backyard was our favorite. The pool was a good size but unfortunately it’s not heated and the weather was on the cool side so we didn’t really benefit from it. The house was clean but somewhat dated but very beachy and spacious enough for just my husband and myself. We basically closed the doors to all the bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor since we were only using the top floor. Our king bed was very comfortable. We loved the laid back feel of the neighborhood and met so many nice people on our multiple daily walks. If I could make a suggestion to the owners it would be to replace the outdoor furniture, specifically the pool area. The chairs are badly rusted and falling apart. Unfortunately, the first time I sat in one of the chairs it ripped my dress.
