The location and proximity to the beach and shopping was wonderful. The cleanliness not so good. When we pulled into the carport area we were greeted with what looked like trash. Not a good impression. But we moved our stuff in and then started noticing some obvious mold in showers, especially the third floor master suite. Some of the jets in the tubs were filthy or moldy. The third floor living area was beautiful but there were obvious areas of wear and tear which didn’t bother us. Then we all went out to the top deck for the fantastic view and were greeted with dirty and some broken furniture. The white dining table was disgusting. One of the rocking chairs was broken. The condition of this furniture was nothing like the photos in the ad which was so disappointing. Windows to the view were blurred from salt and dirt and most screens were missing or torn. I was horrified. I called to complain and a very nice gentleman came back to clean up the shower and jets. Then someone came to get the broken chair. I don’t feel comfortable putting a bad review out in public but this owner needs to know we would never choose this property or any other they own. It’s obvious he doesn’t care about maintenance and keeping it spotless. Honestly though you should be careful whose property you represent. Feel free to share my review with the owner. We loved the outer banks and would love to go back but will be more selective with the property. Susan Keegan. 401-623-0143.
