Motels in Shire of Calliope

'We stayed for 3 nights in total and we loved it. The manager was fantastic, quickest and easiest check-in ever! The room was lovely, bright and clean. We had a dog friendly room on the ground floor which had a patio door accessing a lovely grassed area for the dogs to play. Our only critique would be the scent in the room which we found slightly overpowering. We loved the local Canoe Point off leash dog beach and were so impressed by the surrounding amenities. Gladstone marina was another...

'The motel was well presented and provided every amenity a traveller needs. It is well located being central to the city and most tourist sites.'

'Zeer lawaaierige omgeving roadworks en sportpark, veel gasten die nachts aankomen en zeer vroeg vertrekken,.'

'A lovely little stopover with breakfast included.'

'Bijzonder sympathieke eigenaar die zijn best voor je doet. Bijzonder geschikt voor een stop onderweg.'

'Room was a bit noisy but all in as l a comfortable night and the meal at the restaurant was very good'

'We had the accessable unit which we didn't need . It was very clean and had the best bed we have slept in on our travels. It was however very bare with not even a picture anywhere A great feature is the dining area with free continental breakfast . Great choice of cereals.toast spreads and juice available anytime. The kitchen can also be used to cook an evening meal but you do have to clean up afterwords'

'In need of a lot of work. Still in the 1980’s. Arrived late afternoon, no hot water. Took 24hrs to get hot water.'

'great place, good food and bar very friendly staff parking outside room was very clean....and walk to town.'

'Do not stay here! As I had stayed here a few years ago, I didn’t read recent reviews. The motel is used for somewhere to stay for homeless people. The room was poorly maintained, unclean and nothing like pictures shown. The random people coming and going through the night, with no consideration to guests paying for accommodation made it very difficult to sleep. This motel should not be allowed to be used for paid guest accommodation. Avoid at all costs.'

'Perfect for an overnight stay!'
