Waterfront with spectacular view, close to restaurants and bars

Imagine yourself with a glass of wine, sitting on our front porch (we call it our Tuscan veranda), watching a breathtaking sunset over Monroe Bay. Unobstructed water view, located on "The Point", recently renovated with cook's kitchen, 2 beds, 2 full baths, sleeping up to 5 guests. Beaches a short 3 block scenic walk. Bring your bikes or rent a golfcart. A variety of restaurants/bars located within blocks. Wifi included. Ample parking for cars and trailers. When we have guests in the house we occupy our RV at the rear of our 17,000 square foot property. Nothing is shared between us and our guests including amenities. Guests are closer to next door neighbors than they are to us.

This was seriously a wonderful place. Everything was super clean upon arrival, communication with William was also pleasant. Got a chance to speak with William as we were leaving, he was an extremely nice gentleman. Will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay in this clean, beautiful waterfront property. The location was fantastic, and we loved watching the swan and osprey go about their days from the front porch. We were two couples (ages 45-75!), and the place and town were the perfect, relaxing getaway.

View is great. Beds are comfortable. The sun comes in full on the back deck- which is great for morning coffee. The sun is full on the front deck which is great for sunsets. The full view of the water from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom is wonderful. Of note… the only plates and bowls available for renters are made of melamine which is not suitable for microwaves. Also, the very nice host, William, stays in a camper in the back yard. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this home but think it’s important to share these details.

Comfortable bed, cozy living room, easy check-in, simple control TV remote for the technology challenged senior (lol), beautiful sunset view, large primary bed and bathrooms.A previous guest commented that only a Keurig coffee maker was provided, so I brought my own…would be nice if a regular sized one would have been provided. A lovely home, and we’ll visit again when daylight savings time returns, and we can enjoy the sunsets and swans for an additional evening hour.

It's a beautiful, well-maintained place to stay. The owners were very responsive to every question we had.We have every intention of coming back again. Only two little issues: There was no 'regular' coffee maker, just a Keurig. We also found a French press, but we prefer a full pot of coffee in the morning, so we'll bring our own when we come back.Secondly, the TV in the second bedroom only had Amazon Prime TV available. The response time is extremely slow when interfacing with it through Dish Network. But that's not the fault of the owners.

Beautiful and relaxing. This was our first time staying in a VRBO and it did not disappoint. We absolutely loved staying at Colonial Beach and our VRBO was amazing. It was quiet and comfy. Just perfect. We will be back!

The house itself was absolutely beautiful and spacious. Living room is lined with sliding glass doors where you can look at the water and beautiful sunsets. Very well equipped kitchen. The living room on VRBO showed a leather sectional couch, but that is not what it actually had. Also, it's listed as a 2 bedroom, but there are actually 3 according to Zillow (one is locked off) along with certain closets and drawers that either had small locks or zip ties on them. The only negative for us was the owners stay in an RV trailer at the back of the property which isn't far from the house. Thus, we never used the back deck because we always felt we were being watched. We are in our 60's and and were just here for serenity and relaxation and privacy.

The house was very nice and the front porch was a very nice place to sit and enjoy the water and harbor views. The rooms were large and well furnished. The main ptoblem we had with the home was that the owners lived in the back yard in a camper. Most of the kitchen cabinets were wire tied shut and all the closets were locked shut. The price was good but we didn't feel like we rented the home for it's full use but just a place to stay. The owner was responsive to our request to fix the toilet.
