We arrived at the hotel at 2:30 pm on January 1st. We carried all our luggage and stuff into the lobby and lined up for check-in. I knew that the check-in time was 4 pm and totally understood the room may not be ready. Then I asked for help to temporarily store our luggage because we didn't want to put everything back in our truck, especially since the weather was bad that day. However, the receptionist first said no to our check-in, then refused to provide space for us to put our luggage. I really cannot understand why such a big hotel cannot find any space for customer to store their luggage temporarily. I have been living in many hotels, and this is very rare! At the end, we had to take all the luggage, go across the parking lot on a snowy day. We have kids and a senior with us also. This is such a bad experience! What's more, there was no one trying to help us at all, not a single one!
Besides, the receptionist told us the room would be ready in half an hour to one hour, and they would put us on priority and contact me once the room was ready. However, until 10 pm, when we returned to the hotel, I never received any call or message indicating that the room was ready. That's so ridiculous.
