'I gave it 3 stars on staff because this is a hotel that operates essentially without staff. They email you a key code to get into your room, but there is no front desk and no visible staff on sight. I’m sure this is why their prices even while the rooms are nice.'

'The hotel was close to Longwood Gardens. The outside was clean and neat. Parking was good. The staff were great. Breakfast was good.
Carpets in the room was worn and dirty. Wall paper was peeling. No amenities. Only two small bars of hand soap were provided, nothing else. No hair dryer.'

'Apart from a few stray hairs and very mild stains on the bedding (which seems to be the case at the vast majority of places), the room was very clean and cozy. Well lit room, great shower, immaculately clean bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, good wifi, very effective heater, and (free) parking very close to room. Staff was very welcoming upon arrival, and everything worked as expected, making White Oaks an amazing value for my stay in the area!'

Our only complaint was the hot tub and indoor pool were under maintenance and not available to use. We purposely booked this hotel for the hot tub. 'The front desk staff we're great to deal with. They were professional and friendly and I was able to joke around with them and they return the favor.
We only had one dinner in the restaurant and the food was very very good as was the service. I can't comment on breakfast since I didn't partake of that option. We found the room to be both spacious and clean.'

'I had booked to stay here however once I got to the hotel it was not what I expected so I got my money back and went somewhere else. (The staff was very nice to deal with, not her fault.) It smelt like smoke, the chair in the room was stained and disgusting, the bathroom has a cigarette burn in the shower and mold. Unacceptable. '

'Everything met and exceeded our expectations.
The check in was not an issue, as we got the code to let ourselves into the hotel and into our room an hour before our arrival, and there was no human contact involved or needed.
The room was clean and well appointed, the balcony had a table and two chairs, and it was facing the endless qiet greenery. The bathroom was modern and spotless, there was a kitchenette and the bed was very comfortable and cozy.
