Lake and marina view, Cape Royale under the trees, newly remodeled kitchen

Enjoy our 4 bed, 2 full bath 1880 Sqft mid-century modern lakehouse with beautiful lakeview from the front and at 100 steps from the back deck to the lively Cape Royale marina. Optional fee for access to the community pool, $90/family for 7 days, need 6 days notice and the names of up to 6 adults. The lakehouse is equipped with WIFI, wood fired stove (BYO wood), good beds and mattresses and a nice deck under the trees at the back of the house. Fully equipped remodeled kitchen with supply of coffee, tea, sugar, salt, ketchup, mustard and BBQ sauce. Bed linens and towels provided. Kids toys, booster seat, video and DVD library. Private parking for four cars or three cars + boat trailer. Bring your boat (Cape Royale charges a $20 fee, I believe) and fishing gear. Alternatively, I can take max. 6 persons out in our boat, for a fee and subject to weather and my availability. Fishing dock and three boat ramps are nearby at the marina. Cape Royale has basketball courts, beach volleyball, nature trail, playground and lakefront parks and is child friendly. Optional fee for access to the community pool: $90/family for 7 days, we need 6 days notice and the names of up to 6 adults for registration with the POA.

Lake Livingston Retreat

Our family was comfortable in this home near the marina. It is clean and well stocked with good working appliances and air conditioning. This is our second time here and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

Great home for Families

The layout of the home was great for 6 adults and 3 children. There were plenty of spaces to hang out together or get away from the group. The back porch was great spot to relax. The home had everything and more to make our trip enjoyable and easy.

Lovely Long Weekend

Serene Retreat by the Lake

Our stay at the lake house in this nice neighborhood exceeded expectations. The marina added a serene touch to the surroundings. We enjoyed expending family time at the large table on the deck. Perfect quiet escape

Great location - sleepy little neighborhood on the lake. We are from dallas and met friends from Houston there - easy for us all to get to. The house was great for 2 families with bedrooms on 2 floors. Kitchen is well stocked with all the things we needed. It’s dog friendly with lots of outdoor activities. We made great memories with our families and will plan to come back !

Great stay over Thanksgiving

Our family had a wonderful visit at this property over Thanksgiving. The house was spacious and well stocked. The owners Frederik and Sylvia were available and answered questions promptly. Exceptional weekend getaway.

Property was comfortable and very clean. Kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils, dishes and cleaning supplies. All you needed for a getaway at the lake. Family rest and relaxation

Enjoyed our time, just would have liked to have been able to make the rain go away. We did have some time to enjoy the back deck though. The host had good communication. The kitchen was very well stocked. The large couch was nice. Comfortable seating for several people. We also had plenty of area for parking. Nice area fro get out and take a walk.

A week at Lake Livingston

This lake house is in the trees, along a creek very, close to the marina. We reserved a slip for our boat which convenient and fun. The house is roomy, well cared for, and well supplied with dishes, kitchen items, bath towels and bedding. There is also a cloths washer & dryer and all appliances and AC are in good working order. There is also parking for 4 cars which is more than many similar locations. The Cape Royal community is very nice and the location is beautiful. Over all the house is comfortable, pleasant to be in, and hosted our family perfectly. Wish we could stay there all summer!
