'The view was beautiful'

'Uitgebreid ontbijt, vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaren, schoon en netjes, gratis parkeren op eigen terrein, mooi gelegen in de Dee vallei. Het is een mooi en oud Victoriaans Herenhuis met veel sfeer. Onze kamer was op de bovenste verdieping met veel schuine kanten (minder geschikt voor lange mensen). Uitstekende wifi!'

'Beautiful location, lovely village and park across the road. Very safe for children to walk around the village. Though mine just stayed in the park. The staff at this hotel are very well mannered, attentive and successful in what they do regardless of obvious pressures. A bit disappointed there wasn't any danishes available before breakfast had finished at the early time of 930am. Plenty of cereals, toast and jams with plenty of coffee that you can takeaway'

'Spent a one night stay in a family with my two 14 year olds. Check in was a bit slow, waiting in the bar area for around 10-15 minutes early evening, before a staff member could see to us. Our room was in a separate building and was newly refurbished. It was spacious with a large bed and sturdy bunks, all important WiFi for the kids! Decoration was cosy and comfortable. Tea making facilities were welcomed. Had a quiet nights rest. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant. We were served quickly...

'The staff rang ahead of check in to ensure they would have someone at reception when we arrived (as they are not on site 24 hrs). This was appreciated as they reserved a car park space for us. Check in was smooth. The room was a good size but the pillows were a bit flat and the extra ones weren’t enough (although the beds were very comfortable) and there was no one to ask for more.
