'The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with this wonderful hospitality team. Yes, the lodge is in the middle of nowhere but that’s the point. Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. '

'This place is great. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara. The house is away from busy streets, thus very quiet. Our room was great, clean, well equipped bathroom. Our host, Sue, was super-friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great, several options, all good. So, a perfect 5 of 5! '

'Nice bungalow. Problem with oven door which was a pity but I’m sure it will be replaced. Spacious bungalow with plenty of room for the five of us. Lovely views and great location for exploring - we have been coming to the area for fifty years so we didn’t need to venture far anyway. Clifden/Kylmore/Cleggan all within 20/30 mins drive. Good communication with the host and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend and book again !!'

'We were not booked in via Vrbo ? Apparently it had to be done manually? Clearly the communication between Vrbo and The Ivy was not working, however a room was found for us, had to be changed from a double to a twin as per specifics of our booking. Newly decorated and carpeted room, very lovey, dated shower and NO mattress cover on the my single bed ? Yuk. Room not refreshed on day 2, no replenished milk/tea coffee etc. Despite this we were made welcome and the breakfast was lovely - thank you,...
