« We had a hockey tournament in Blaine, MN, and decided to stay at a lake house instead of the standard hotel. The house was the perfect size for our family of four, and our boys loved fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Communication with Kevin was great, and the weekend trip went smoothly. To top it off, we have a perfect view of the Northern Lights from the end of the dock. »

« the house was lovely and well appointed we had everthing we needed. the mirage kayaks were a nice surprise we have one at home and really enjoyed peddling around the lake. even took a trip to the bait shop. view from the master bedroom was spectacular. we had a very nuce vacation and the dogs loved swimming in the lake. thank you for sharing your home. you are probably aware but if not the last railing is in need of some tightening and a couple of the stair protectors fell off. all in all we...

« My boyfriend and I wanted to celebrate our 2 year anniversary somewhere special and we found this cabin and it was perfect! It is so beautiful and cozy on the inside, we loved being able to listen to vinyls and play board games by the fire. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need! The views are stunning from anywhere in the cabin but especially the bedroom! it was beautiful to wake up to the sun coming in through the windows! great place and will stay again in the future! »

« Beautiful lake house on Long Lake. Owners were communicative and kind. We had a problem with check-in for 30 min due to the code for the front door was incorrect. Evolve email directions had the wrong code. We were able to reach owners within 30 min and were given correct code. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay immensely! Thank you ! »

« My friends and I made the short drive up from the Cities for a weekend away and could not have been more pleased with our stay at Zach and Betsy’s home. The house itself was clean and spacious—everyone (two couples, two singles) had their own space if they needed a minute to themselves. The details—from ample linens and phone chargers in every room to the coffee maker and French press to the board games—were immaculate. I fully recommend The Gables for a getaway! »

« I stayed for an extended period of time. The owner and his sons live on the property, but you won’t see them very much. The property is SO peaceful, quiet, and safe. They’ve been working to improve it and so there’s some renovations and things here and there, but nothing that would make you uncomfortable or disturb you. My kids were welcomed here, and the family even helped me through an epic flat tire crisis. They have literally everything you need and then some as far as kitchen, bathroom,...
