Pensions in Chiemsee

'Straaange hotel! Normally, I’m not one for writing reviews, but this time I feel the need to give you a heads up before you spend your hard earned money. When we arrived the reception was hard to find as it is in another hotel called Schlossblick across the street. Your rooms however are above another restaurant across the parking lot and through a stinking garbage place. To get there you need to enter the back of a restaurant. The rooms had a beautiful view, but where old and not so clean. It...

'Hotelkamer was simpel.

'We stayed for just one night, the appartment had everything we needed, very spacious and clean. The personell was very friendly and welcoming to us, our kids and our dog.'

'Schone kamer vriendelijke ontvangst'

'Very nice'

Aanrader '

'Very quiet, clean room with e/g a tired traveller would wish for: bottles of beer and soft drinks in fridge, water heater for tea, even cutlery and crockery. To get into the building one meets an obstacle, though: the front door has to be opened using both hands: I'd never seen such a mechanism before - inciting the owner giving instructions over the phone to some impolite remarks... One drawback: the wi-fi only works intermittently,...

'Our room was absolutely perfect. Everything centered around a huge walk-in shower as it should. The mountain views from our second floor balcony were amazing. And the breakfast was delicious. If you are visiting Salzburg or the surrounding area, I would highly recommend staying here and commuting by train, which is very simple to do and the station nearby.'
