'The hotel is less than 2 years old and is located in a very convenient location that is with walking distance to many restaurants. The food in the restaurant was delicious and there is even a speakeasy in the basement!'

'Quiet character...Since 1860 character. We stayed Sunday through Thursday amd no continental breakfast was available these days. '

'Kamer was schoon en de indeling was ideaal voor ons gezin. Woongedeelte voor de kids en de aparte slaapkamer voor de ouders. Het hele hotel zag er netjes uit. Het ontbijt was klein, maar wel goed. Koffie, muffins, fruit, cornflakes en chocolademelk. Het was allemaal vers. Het terras buiten was ook voorzien van dikke kussens om op te zitten. Wasruimte was ideaal. In het zwembad lagen drie dode insecten, dat was het enige minpuntje. Ik zou dit hotel zo weer boeken.'

'Desk staff was very polite and quick response time. Room itself had clean sheets and towels, an room itself was clean even if not in the best of shape. The water was the worst I have seen. It smelled of SULFUR and was only a light pressure - took forever to wet short hair. When exiting shower your entire body smelled of sulfur! '

'First room we got smelled of cigarette smoke. Also the counter in the kitchen was delaminating. The next room had nicotine stains all over the ceiling above the bathtub. Also the bathtub drain was completely plugged, and the staff had no Drano to clear the clog. And the tub faucet was almost falling off, and didn’t turn off completely (drip, drip, drip into the standing water left in the tub). The TV had only cable — no streaming options (e.g., Netflix, HBO Max, etc.), so you couldn’t even log...

'This disgusting dirty hotel (can't really call it that!) is a disgrace! Looks like the rugs haven't been cleaned in years! No plastic cups in the bathroom to use and when asking the clerk at the desk he couldn't find any anywhere! The idea of a light breakfast is a joke! The soda machine takes your money but didn't dispense any soda! Called a studio with a kitchen, but no plates, silverware, pots or pans or anything to use or cook with! I would never recommend this place to anyone!'

'2 towels for 4 night stay No cleaning No toiletries Way too soft beds No chair Bathrooms need complete overhaul. Old cracked toilet with oversized seat. Crud, dirt in corners of old tile floors (replace). Needs a Bathfitters insert tub. It did have a big brand new TV $375 for 4 nights Under renovation old motel, MacIntosh Inn, to franchise chain Red Roof Inn. About 80% complete.'

'This property has gone steeply downhill since our last stay here. We come into town every couple of months and this hotel had been our go-to for a couple of years. The morning after we arrived, we saw bright pink lipstick on our fitted bedsheet; not mine as I had no makeup with me. There was also a dark brown-black smear on one of the lampshades. One of the two elevators was broken. The washing machine was out of order as was the ice maker on our floor. Our entire room looked and felt dingy and...

'The rooms are disgusting they don’t clean the vents they pour grout on top of grout to mask mold and rust the carpets are disgusting do not stay there. Ever'

'The room had an infestation of ants in the bathroom requested to move rooms next room was musty smelly the doors were all damaged looked like people were trying to break in to the rooms by the way the doors has been damaged. Overall a horrible stay'

'Great location and calm atmosphere. Beds were comfortable, suite was spacious, and staff was super nice. Would stay here again for sure.'

'We were not sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. It feels more like a self service Airbnb as you get your own code emailed to you in advance to get into the building and your room. The place is quaint and well maintained. It provided what we needed - nothing fancy, convenient location. My one and only complaint was the coffee. It’s a basic household 12 cup brewer so both mornings we came down to an empty coffee pot and didn’t have time to wait for them to brew another pot....

'They had an order to vacate on both doors and a paper from the EPA stating the water was unsafe. Moldy food on the tables, mold in the A/C units, whole building reeked of stale cigarettes. Worst place ive ever booked in my life.'

'I always enjoy my stay but this time I was a little disappointed due to no heater in the rooms and in the rooms there was the sounds of the water heater that didn’t let anyone sleep. I wish I would’ve known ahead of time the hotel was under maintenance repair.'
