'Woning ligt zeer rustig gelegen , 10 minuten met de wagen tot dichtstbijzijnde bakker en een grote supermarkt. Ideale plaats om uit te rusten , weg van de drukte. Uitstekend zwembad. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Een aanrader voor wie de rust zoekt. 1,5 uur rijden tot aan de kust met de eilanden, zeker een bezoek waard.'

'The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. '

'The welcome of the owners of the cottage is heartwarming. They go the extra length to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage has got everything you need, even appletrees for your fruit, chickens for your eggs and a vegetable garden for your tomatoes and herbs. A wonderful place in the heart of the Charente Maritime.'

'Des hôtes vraiment formidable Barbara et Kevin sont très sympathique et très accueillant. La location est vraiment très propre et décoré avec goût. 'We stayed at Maison Tranquille this August with our family and some friends and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed bbqs together in the evenings, the kids had a fantastic time in the pool and with all the games provided and we had everything we needed to relax and unwind.
