'This host was horrible. When my fiance and I arrived at the VRBO. There was pet hair all over the bed. The was dirt and stains on the bedding. There were bugs in the house. The shower is EXTREMELY small. I am 5 foot and could barely shower comfortably. After going to dinner, we decided to that we could not comfortably sleep in a dirty listing. We had to book a hotel. I then reached out to VRBO for help. They told me to talk to the host. They were not accommodating and in-fact they blamed the pet...

'If I could give this property a negative rating, I would. This was, without question, the worst vacation rental we have ever stayed in.The unit was dark, poorly maintained, and felt more like a jail cell than a vacation home. We encountered cockroaches, the furniture was extremely dated, and there was a strong chemical odor throughout the property, along with signs of possible mold that raised serious health concerns for our family.To make matters worse, the owner arrived at the property...

'Our stay was lovely in decor and cleanliness. The location was excellent, complete with assigned parking space. The historic district was quiet and convenient, walking distance for eateries,and seeing lovely homes. We enjoyed the various books on Charleston, that were located in this VRBO. Including the guide book which had lots of suggestions of restaurants, historic places to visit, and maintenance details. We would definitely come here again for another visit to Charleston.
