'The property was near to restaurants and grocery stores. The grounds were well kept and clean. The staff were very attentive and responded quickly to a request to fix the shower door.
We did notice our feet were black from walking on the floors in the room. We asked the housekeeper to mop the floor but it was still dirty.
I enjoyed the three days there and would go there again if the floors were cleaner.'

'The landscaping was spectacular, and the passage to and on the beach were equally impressive. We love the Gulf Stream for coffee and simple breakfast. The pool was easily accessible and was well maintained. The rooms were very spacious, (maybe the decor was slightly dated). Would definitely stay here again; really enjoyed our three day vacation.'

'I have picture evidence of a vehicle that was parked in a handicap spot. I advised the front desk after coming back from a wedding if they can notify the parking enforcement. The wrote down the plate and said they would call but sure if they can do anything about it. Since the handicap ♿️ spots was not there responsibility. 'The biggest con is the rooms smell like dog urine. I don't understand why the rooms are carpeted, especially if you allow dogs in the hotel?
There were also what looked like old feces stains on the carpet.
The other con is the location. I recommend staying in downtown Ventura to be within walking distance to dining and attractions, because there isn't much near the hotel.
Coffee was awful, which is the case at every hotel offering free coffee (another reason to stay downtown...

'Goed hotel met prima service en goed ontbijt. Enkel is het redelijk gehorig. Zeker wanneer je aan de snelweg kant een kaner hebt. Het ontbijt was heel goed met uitstekende service. Het bed was comfortabel en groot en de kamer was schoon. Het hotel ligt dicht bij de haven wat handig is wanneer je naar de channel islands wil gaan. '
