'very well furnished house for a large group. With friends and family staying in the vicinity, we were able to have up to 25 people for a dinner or a lunch without too much effort. Everything is very simple, but in the winter with all the coats and shoes, we lacked space to put things away or hang them. The heating was barely coping with the vast spaces, luckily it wasn't too cold. The kitchen is fantastic, and overall we had a great Christmas time.'

'Durant notre séjour de 4 jours nous avons pleinement profité de la splendide demeure et de son magnifique parc. Les chambres sont vastes et bien équipées en lits, la salle à manger permet d'accueillir un grand nombre de personne (nous étions 13), et la cuisine est très adaptée pour la préparation de repas pour un groupe. 'We were with 8 adults and had a lovely stay in the Perigord region with quiet surroundings. Just the sound of a lot of birds keeps you awake during the day. The castle is very well equipped and decorated and not to big, neither to small. It fits the number of guests very good. You can visit several nice little towns(one or two stars Michelin!) but make cycle or walking tours as well. In short: lovely castle and park, everything you need is there.'
