'The Rigdon House is beautiful place to stay. After we checked in there was a free glass of wine and some lovely cheese to eat. The staff is very friendly. They gave us a free upgrade to the suite. That room was awesome, we had a separate bathroom, sleepingroom and livingroom. Everything was very clean. If you want a place to stay in Cambria....go to The Rigdon House.'

'Nice peaceful place. Clean and owners took care on the details. Liked the fireplace and THANK GOD finally a 'normal' shower head. So far everywhere encountered a wall-fixed shower head. Unfortunately like everywhere else in the US the walls are made of paper so your experience might depend on luck (if you have noisy neighbours or not). We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious but a bit small for a big guy that will spend the entire day hiking. The basket it came in was a bit dirty...

'Sunrise room was very comfortable and well-kept. It was nice having a private balcony, even though you cannot see anything from it due to unkempt grounds. The grounds needed some TLC and the lighting at night is terrible. There needs to be some lighting along the edge of the hill leading to the stream--nothing would prevent someone from accidentally walking off the edge and crashing down to the fence below. We missed the wine and hors d'oeuvres hour, but they were very kind to plate up...

'I was surprised that there was no breakfast available. The evening clerk was obviously in the back, but no matter how many times we called out she didn’t respond. She finally came out front with no apology. Other than that, it was a lovely place right across from the ocean. '

'Perfect romantic weekend coastal getaway. Very clean and cozy room. High end bath amenities and morning coffee/pastries were appreciated. Staff were very helpful with local dinner options and welcoming. We will definitely be back!'

'Hele sfeervolle, nette kamer met een prima bed. Echte glazen ipv plastic bekers. Gelegen in een rustige parkachtige omgeving. Ontbijt op aardewerk servies, er was voldoende keus. Het was wel erg druk. Voor het diner is reserveren wel nodig. We vonden het wel prijzig. '

'Rooms where ok. Pitty there is no laundry option and no A/C in the rooms. It was great that is was next to the ocean and easy parking. But the pictures are different online than what we got. And I just had to deal with it or pay 50 dollars for a room with partial ocean view or a balcony'
