'What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. 'the room was spacious enough and the bed was very comfortable. we liked having the little kitchenette and it was suitably set up for simple meal preparation. the location is out of town, so we found it peaceful, and it was handy to Mount Panorama which my husband liked. it is a large, somewhat rambling facility with some communal areas like lounges and kitchenettes, that might appeal if conditions meant you need to stay indoors. 'Really nice open area for the kids to explore. The hosts were very accommodating and helped out with additional requests and even introduced our kids to the horses. Basic little huts, but very clean with all the right amenities. Perfect overnight spot to explore the Lost Kingdom conservation area'
