'Restaurant/bar is closed permanently. Our room was not in the main building but in an annex. The room was very dark because our window looked out onto a wall. '

'Second time here it’s a good place to stay good beds perfect showers with all the faciliteiten. May be it would be nice if you could made your own coffee in the room '

'Our patio did not have chairs, requested for two to be brought to room. That did not happen . Sad such a small request could not happen. Valet’s service was good, but seemed like an inconvenience for staff to assist. Overall rating would be 3.5. They could do better'

'De kamer was schoon en ruim. Het personeel was bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De parkeerplaats was zeer goed. Per kamer was er een bijpassende parkeerplaats met het nummer van de kamer, zo sta je altijd precies voor je eigen kamer. Supermooi authentiek motel met hele leuke, oude originele details. We zaten in kamer 1 en daarom iets meer last van het geluid van de weg waaraan het hotel ligt maar voor de rest een top verblijf.'

'The staff is super friendly & accommodating. The property is clean and well maintained. Multiple restaurants to choose from (quick eats to nice steakhouse). We ate at multiple restaurants at Santa Ana Star and they were all very good. The pool area is nice and clean as well. We will definitely be back.'

'We enjoyed the historic vibe, but with modern restoration. The food (dinner and breakfast on site) was excellent and we enjoyed chatting with the chef and hearing some of the history the hotel.'

'1. We arrived and first impressions was the room was a bit outdated in decor but smelled clean. That and a decent bed were the only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1. 2. The desk chair was broken when we arrived. I called the front desk and the super came with a folding chair and left the broken one in the room anyway. 3. Lightbulb out in a lamp in the room. I called the front desk and the super brought a lightbulb that was still warm. You don't have spare lightbulbs? 4. Fireplace...

'Very stylish rooms with nice bathrooms and perfect beds. Clean, spacious, silent and nice coffee! '

'The hotel is brand new! We were the first ones to check in on the day it opened (6/30/26) so everything was pristine. I’m sure the lack of hot water to all the rooms has been corrected.'

'If we hadn't been so tired I would have to complain about the little tail gate party they were having outside in front of the two or three rooms next to us ! We got there about 8:pm I guess and went straight to bed. Still daylight outside. I heard a kid screaming a few times then we were out...lol'

'De kamer was groter dan verwacht. Een fantastisch bed. De buitenkant van het hotel is helemaal in stijl met een neon sign en neon verlichting. De kamer daarentegen was modern ingericht. Ik had liever gezien dat het interieur van de kamer meer vintage/retro zou zijn. Maar alle voorzieningen waren heel erg goed. Enig minpuntje is dat de waterdruk van de douche heel erg laag was.'
