'Sfeervolle kamers, prachtige lobby, een pand met geschiedenis bovendien! Overal hangen schilderijen van beroemdheden die hier ooit gelogeerd hebben. Ontbijt tot halftien moet je wel letterlijk nemen: om 9:20 was de koffie op, om 9:45 was de deur naar de ontbijtruimte op slot.'

'het hotel heeft ons echt verrast en de kamers waren in positieve zijn compleet anders dan op de foto. De kamers waren namelijk compleet vernieuwd en gemoderniseerd. Verder is het qua geluid heel rustig en je hoord letterlijk niets, dus ook niet de weg waar het hotel aanligt. Ook de wifi was prima en lekker snel. In de buurt vind je overigens veel restaurants waar je heerlijk kan eten.'

'Its a nice motel, quiet, clean, pet friendly of course. I used to live over in this area in some apartments behind the small shopping center next to it and I feel its pretty safe. They have cameras installed around the motel though for guests peace of mind. Its got restaurants And Jitter Bean right across the street super convenient.. warm place to stay for a night or 2. Alao the shower handle fell off while turning it one and they were very nice about it and offered a change of room immediately...

'This hotel reminded us of the glory days of Eureka. The room was nice, but a bit noisy as we needed open windows at night, which lets in traffic noise. The architecture of the place is great. All the staff are personable, friendly, and helpful. '

'I have stayed many times at this Red Lion as I have property in the area. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful. Areas that might be addressed that twice now when I take a shower before bed, the hot water is just luke warm. Secondly, the large parking lot often seems littered a bit and open to break-ins. There could also be a lamp on the table that has outlets for computers, etc. '

'Easily the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in, and comfortable too.The property is so well maintained and the gardens are wonderful. As others have noted, the breakfast far exceeded any expectations we had. So much so, my husband threatened to lick the baking dish! Will be looking for recipes to try and duplicate.Only wish it had been warm enough to eat outside. My highest recommendation!'

'Loved this beautiful old hotel, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Very conveniently located in the historic downtown. My only hesitation to recommend it to some folks would be if you went the wrong direction you would quickly enter a small group of homeless people. I had no problems however and walked all over the historic downtown to see the lovely Victorian architecture, the pretty waterfront, the murals and to many wonderful restaurants.
