Motels in Mackay Caneland

'Very friendly couple from Bangladesh is working here with their baby. They working hard together knowing what hospitality is. Breakfast is poor but oké, only the peanutbutter was over date en no jam… Room, bathroom are simple but clean, everything you need is there. '

'A nice room to stay in for work'

'Als je op doorreis bent een prima hotel. Van vrijdag t/m zondag zijn alle restaurants op een na gesloten.'

'Very good reception by Naomi'

'I'm amazed at the ratings people have given this motel. The room was down a brick corridor and smelt mouldy. I'm glad I was only staying overnight. I'm not sure it was that reasonably priced but it was close to town.'

'Prima hotel, goed eten en fijne medewerkers. De faciliteiten op de kamer zijn wat veroudert, de wc loopt continu door, wat roest, etc. Omgeving is uitstekend en uitvalsbasis voor zo’n beetje alles wat Mackay te bieden heeft.'

'Though not new. It was quality in its own way. Thought of everything that was needed and cost was great'

'Very clean rooms..pool area excellent & great parking space'

'This is an older style motel but the rooms are clean, roomy and the bed is comfortable with crisp, white sheets and pillows. Nothing fancy with this motel but everything works and for an overnight stay with a small dog, it is ideal. The only unusual element is that the office is not open for check-in. You call a phone number and a woman talks you through where to find the key and your room number. We didn't need to talk directly to staff so no problem for us.'

'Great little motor in. Road noise is hectic until about 10.00pm, but after that it was fine. Rooms are fine too. Thanks very much for having us.'

'Exceptionally clean and comfortable bed.'

'Great location, room was very nice & everything was easy to find! Staff was very friendly & attended to us very quickly when we needed something. I loved how there was a guest laundry, very convenient for us. Would definitely recommend to family & friends and would come back here next time.'

'Close to town for walking distance. Room needs a makeover fridge needs replacing as very rusty. Could do with a false roof in bathroom as room above you could here when water etc was going through pipe works.'
