This lower-level, oceanfront home (part of a duplex that can be rented together to accommodate up to 12 guests) offers space for six, a furnished deck with a gas grill, a fenced yard with spectacular views, and convenient beach access via stairs just a couple houses away.

Kick back on the deck or out in the grassy yard and watch for passing dolphins and whales in the water. Start a fire in the gas fireplace and cozy up in the living room during the cooler months. Please wash the big windows that look out on the ocean; that view was the joy of staying there..Please put better lighting in the bedroom closest to the living room (with the accordion doorways). Bad lighting.

We had everything we needed. I was not used to the dampness being so close to the ocean in October but all part of being right on the ocean. The view was spectaculr.

Perfect oceanfront break

We had such a relaxing vacation in Cayucos. This home is so convenient to go into town, walk on the beach, or head out wine tasting. The deck is stunning with sweeping views, and it was the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee and an evening drink.

Not as comfortable as we expected.

Over all the most inconvenient thing was the limited supply of paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. The furniture was not comfortable, especially the furniture in the living room. The neighbors upstairs were constantly up and making a lot of noise during the night. They kept waking us up. We loved the view and enjoy the close proximity to the pier and the local shops.

Nice quiet place on the beach. Clean. Easy to get around town from this location. Comfortable. The washer & dryer on site came in handy. I recommend this home to everyone!

Beautiful waterfront

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous waterfront house. Loved the porch where we looked out for hours and watched the Ocean. Everything was very comfortable in the kitchen as well equipped.

Comfortable & Well Appointed

This is a lovely, well appointed home. The rooms are small and cute and the living area is a bit tight, but also very well arranged. We have a child with Cerebral Palsy, so the narrow space between furniture was cumbersome at first. We moved some things around to make it work for us. One of the twin mattresses in the back room was wildly uncomfortable. Not sure what was up with it. It felt like a blow up mattress. But otherwise the beds were quite comfy. Ample pillows and blankets. The view is gorgeous and proximity to main street was perfect. We walked everywhere we went. The kitchen is large and he dining table accommodated our family and wheelchair! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We loved our time here and would recommend to a friend.

Terrific except carpet, wifi, bathrooms

We love this property. The view is unbeatable. Kitchen is very well stocked with utensils. The manager was very responsive.. There are some negatives. The carpets are filthy giving the house an unclean feeling. Wifi is also nearly unusable. It is non-existent in the front of the house and very very slow in the back. I wish the bathrooms were more up-to-date. Overall, the view and location in Cayucos (a wonderful, small charming and friendly town.) beat out our few negatives.

Visiting Cal Poly daughter

This place was perfect! Brought my elderly parents out to visit my daughter at Cal Poly and this was perfect spot because of the lack of hustle and bustle in Cayucos. Just wanted a quiet place to enjoy the view when not out enjoying the sights. Amazing view of the ocean and saw dolphins just about every day. Sad to leave to go back to the snowstorm happening in WI. Highly recommend!

Location, location!

Amazing location! Right on the ocean..watched dolphins, otters, pelicans from the front deck. The unit was in need of carpet replacement and some updated decoration. Otherwise loved our stay!

Needs lots of help! VERY DIRTY!!!!

Beautiful location Very dirty! Table had food all over it. Kitchen floor had food all over it and was dirty. Master bedroom had food on the throw rugs. After what we paid and Covid I didn’t want to clean up after someone else. Outside grill was filthy inside and out and only enough propane for 1 time of grilling. Cable tv didn’t work and WiFi was so spotty that you couldn’t get the Roku to work. Front burner on stove didn’t work. Ice maker barley made any ice. Couldn’t really find anyone to contact. So disappointing. Would not recommend.

Everything was great, except the floors were not clean, carpet needs to be replaced . Sign says remove your shoes hard to do when floors look dirty! The location, views and beach access are perfect would definitely rent again!

We were thrilled w the view/location. The house wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. The carpet is filthy, food on spatula, ashes in fireplace, windows filthy. The renters in upstairs unit were easily heard and made a peaceful nap impossible. I would not rent this property again. I will say property manager was very responsive.

Amazing location and view.

Amazing location and view. The location, the porch, and the ocean view is spectacular. The place itself is very functional but a little worn. Everything you need is there but the cushioned furniture is a little blown out. When we arrived the heat wasn’t working. We received a quick and friendly response from the property manager but she needed my help to fix the gas heater. Needless to say I am not a gas heater expert nor did I sign up to work on one as part of my vacation! Nevertheless, the fix was quick and she was very friendly and our trip overall was great! I would definitely go back but hope in the interim they fix up the insides a little bit. Even if they don’t it’s well worth it! You just can’t beat the view, the sound of the waves, the porch and the location in general.

Great location.

Great location and we had a blast. The house is dated which I don’t mind except numerous items didn’t work: ice maker, front door, dish washer and WiFi. I fixed the ice maker on day 3, they had a repair guy fix the dish washer mid-trip but the WiFi was never fixed. The front door would get stuck closed often. They were very responsive to all problems.

A wonderful place. Beautiful ocean view to be enjoyed inside the house and on the porch. Walking distance to favorite Cayucos spots; Sea Shanty, Martins, Schooners. Would love to return.

Perfect spot for a getaway

The location couldn't be better of this home, right on the water and a block from the cute town of Cayucos. It was the perfect spot for our families to hang out for the weekend - we fit two families of three comfortably. The lawn facing the ocean was the perfect spot to lounge away the afternoon with snacks, wine and the cool ocean breeze. I'd recommend this rental to anyone and we plan to go back again next year.
