Be aware of an uninformed practice of scanning photo ID at check-in. View from the “Vantage King Room” on Level 2 was directly into the Conference Centre, so if you want a view be sure to request it. 'DeBrett is a beautiful hotel, with a very original interior design. Location is perfect in downtown Auckland. Room was clean, service good. The free daily drink in the guest-only library room is a very nice feature and gives the hotel a home-like feeling. Complimentary continental breakfast is basic but good. Hot breakfast comes at additional cost. The restaurant Kitchen was very good, we enjoyed a lovely dinner. Only downside is the noise in the restaurant, the acoustics are so bad that a big...

'Wat een geweldig fijn hotel. Alles is fris, trendy en netjes. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en het restaurant is top. Ook de kamer is groot, schoon met een heerlijke badkamer en bed. We hebben écht genoten van ons verblijf!'

'Mooi verblijf! Ideaal gelegen om Auckland te bezoeken. Op loopafstnd van de winkelstraten en de gezellige haven waar allerlei leuke restaurants zitten. Parnell, het historische gedeelte ligt ook op wandelafstand. DE auto konden wij parkeren onder het hotel voor NZ 30 per dag. Prima geregeld. Personeel erg vriendelijk en de kamer was rustig gelegen met uitzicht op he binnenplein. Wij gaan zeker terug!'

The staff were helpful, the room was clean (and quiet) and our overall experience was great. Definitely recommended for a stay in Auckland. 'Great place to stay when visiting Auckland! Situated on Queen street at a Sky Bus stop (really right in front of the door), the hotel is close to the main attractions in the city. The room was very clean and modern. Great fitness room as well!'
