B&B in Castelnau-d'Arbieu

'What an amazing stay. Grand, elegant and tastefully restored farmhouse set in immaculate grounds. Our hosts, Helen and Jean were so welcoming and gave us do many useful ideas about places and restaurants to visit. We loved the breakfast with homemade jams, French toasts and local delicacies in a sublime outdoor setting. An amazing stay in a beautiful room and would definitely recommend a stay and would love to return.'

'The place was locked up when I arrived and had to wait 15 minutes for the proprietor to open the door! Very worn room which needed a refurb as did the whole place to be honest! Inaccurate listing details: there is no restaurant, just a bar, so no food. Not one of my better choices but the pictures and details do look a lot better than the reality.'

'If it was not for the idyllic countryside location of the property, it's grounds, facilities and beautifully appointed accommodation then it was the wonderful hosts who made our short stay a delight accommodating all our family needs. Thank you Alison and Nick (and Oscar & Ruby, sorry we didn't leave you any breakfast leftovers, it was too yummy!).'
