'This property is truly lovely. The rooms are spacious, large and fresh. Our room I thought when I saw the picture with the bunk beds will be simple but it was elegant. The property lies slightly out of town behind a nice electronic gate that opens up into a nice driveway and garden with a pool and an amazing view of a rock faced mountain. 'We were warmly received by Donatella and her daughter, Francesca. Donatella was very gracious and created marvelous treats for breakfast. Her homemade apple strudel was the best I’ve ever had. Francesca was amazing and helped us coordinate ferry schedules, dinner reservations, and activities. The setting is gorgeous and idyllic. Truly a unique and fabulous stay.'

'Wonderful place way off the beaten track, run by a very friendly, helpful and forthcoming couple. The house and its decoration is old and rustique but that does NOT mean it's poorly maintained, it's just old. Best breakfast ever, with a stunning view over lake Como.
Driving up there is not for the fainthearted, and parking can be tricky if you're driving anything bigger than a Fiat 500, but - again! - the helpful hosts will solve that for you.'

'Street parking was better than covered parking offered. Mattress and bedding needed replacing with new. Room and bathroom were clean.
No one was at the property to greet us. However, they communicated by email promptly.
Fabiola, our host, was delightful. Her breakfast was wonderful.'
