Great little hideaway

This is a great place to visit Tahoe's North shore area. Close to some great spots on the lake, and pretty much anything else we've needed in the area. Great space for my kids to spread out and be on their own, as well.

Perfect house with lots of room

Very spacious home with enough beds and space for our family of 5. We enjoyed our tjme here. Plenty of cooking ware, bbq and bedding made this trip even better. Great communication with the property manager.

This property was such a gem... Just right for our group of 5 and a great value. My elderly parents loved the Master bedroom with king size bed and the queen bed in our room was super comfortable. Everything you could want was supplied and the appliances are modern. We appreciated having a washer and dryer and a half bath downstairs. The place was also clean. The creek out back was really cool. We hope to stay at this property again when we return to see family in the area.

Week long stay in Glenrock

While we take family trips to Tahoe a couple of times a year we were excited to make it back to Glenrock. As a child, my parents rented a unit there for a month in the summertime and it was so nostalgic to return as an adult. We had a great time and the owner was very helpful. George was always available to answer my questions and was super accommodating. The units upgrades are nice, I like the open concept. We had friends staying in another unit a few houses up with only minor upgrades. We felt very fortunate to be staying in a unit that was remodeled. We loved the back deck and the sounds from the rolling creek were peaceful and put our 6-week old baby right to sleep. The king bed in the master and the queen in the additional room were very comfortable. The location is great, and having a pool is an added bonus. The neighbors were also very nice! Thanks George! We will be back!

Great location, comfortable unit, needs some updating

This cabin is a great location for skiing at Diamond Peak. We could be at the ski resort in 5 min. The pictures online are accurate. The king bedroom is quite large and has a private bathroom. The bedroom with the twin beds is the second largest and an adequate size. However, the queen bedroom (not pictured in the vrbo listing) is tiny. There is barely enough room to walk around the bed. It was very tight for 2 adults in that room. I think the property owner should really rethink the bed configuration. While there were a ton of dishes and kitchen tools, we thought it all needed some updating (handles falling off of pots and pans, chipped cups etc.). We also found some kitchen items had been put away dirty. We also found some moldy/expired items in the fridge (old salad dressing, jam, mayonnaise). Unfortunately, there was no propane to use the gas grill. I asked the property manager to bring more, and he told me that we would have to go to the store ourselves to get propane. He did offer to reimburse me for the expense, but I didn't really want to spend my vacation buying propane. In my experience, a property manager usually takes care of this kind of thing. Overall, it's a comfortable cabin in a great location, but the unit could be improved by doing an audit of the kitchen equipment and replacing items as necessary, and ensuring the unit is clean and well stocked before new guests arrive.

The property was exactly as pictured. Minor things needed to be maintained like burned out light bulbs but overall it’s a great place to stay. We couldn’t watch live TV but they have Amazon, Netflix and Hulu which was great for us. 5 mins from Diamond Peak and Incline Village which is great.

Family vacation with three teens and grade-schooler. Excellent location, quiet, comfortable.

Spent five perfect days in Tahoe at this wonderful, free-standing townhome. Enjoyed rushing creek behind the deck, association pool was great for three teens and grade-schooler. Neighborhood location allowed nightly walks on safe, quiet streets. Five minute drive to grocery, shops and eateries. Location close to Incline beaches, hiking and mountain-biking. Owner was easy to contact, pleasant and interested in our enjoying their “Tahoe retreat “. Unit has been nicely updated and comfortable for a family of six. Will return again when back in Tahoe!

The pictures are true. The place was very clean and updated. Everything you could need in the kitchen was there. The back deck is the best part with a rapid running stream behind and lots of trees. Very tranquil. The owner was responsive too when we had a few questions.
