We knew from our first viewing of the Boathouse that it checked all of our boxes. Location, space, arrangement of space, tranquil setting, and amenities met all of our needs and expectations. « There were four of us in our party. 1 couple and two singles. This is a three bedroom cottage which accommodated is just fine. The area is rural, so if you are looking for the convenience of not having to drive, this is not the place for you. « Pine Tree House is very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped for a self catering stay. We enjoyed the quiet rural setting and the location worked well for day trips to the Dingle Peninsula, Killarney National Park, Ballybunion, and Co. Clare via the Tarbert ferry. Kay and Eddie are wonderful hosts. We hope to return someday! »

« The property was great for a family with little kids as it has a yard, and rooms are separated for quiet time. Host was very responsive and friendly. It is very close to the water and a small little town. And a short drive to the larger areas to visit. »

« We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there. The bathroom was again modern in an old worldly setting, with plenty of hot water...

« Check in process was horrific. fine print the receipt claimed I was supposed to contact them 48’hours ahead so they could coordinate my check in. Who ever hears of such a thing, when they knew when I was checking in and all that was required is sending an email with the lock box key? Instead then on site manager never answered the phone when we arrived at 4 pm and after 2 hours we had to get a room elsewhere. We wish we had just stayed at that place but since we has PhD ahead in full for the 5...

"Wonderful stay in this hotel, location is marvelous. Our room was overlooking the ocean and it was pure bliss to sit by the window and watch the waves. Diner at Aileen’s was excellent and the breakfast facing the ocean a must do. A bit disappointed by the bed size it is a bit small for that hotel standard, personnel overall is really friendly some would require a bit more experience. Definitely a place to go back to!"
