'Great for what we needed in a stay. The location was perfect, just over 5 minutes from Woodward Tahoe. Quiet neighborhood. Beds comfy. Kitchen adequate for the minimal amount of cooking we did. The General Store just up the street is worth stopping in. Would stay again.'

'Great stay with a family of 4 and 3. Very comfortable beds and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Lots of room for kids to play. Host was very responsive. Loved the views of the river in the snow. Was a pleasure staying here and would love to come back next year.'

'Beautiful big house, but it needs some TLC. Let me start with all the positives. It’s a great large cabin for big families. The game room is a nice addition, and there is plenty of space for sledding outside which we absolutely loved. Suggestions: It could be better organized and that’s really it. The kitchen is so spacious but we couldn’t find the utensils to cook and after 4 nights and 12 meals later that was frustrating. 'Everything worked. Reasonably priced. The beds were super comfy, lots of towels provided. One downside is that we were unable to get into the private beach but it’s a 5-10 min drive from several top tier beaches. Drop dead gorgeous house. Dream vacation home for sure. 10/10 would stay again'

'We were suprised by the size of the very small bathroom! My 6ft husband had to sit on the toilet sideways. He also felt like he had to duck in several areas. The living room furniture was not comfortable for 4 adults. The kitchen only had 2 spots to sit and eat. 'My spouse, young child, and parents stayed at the cabin for 4 nights. We were able to relax and spent most of our time at the property enjoying meals and board games together and going on walks at nearby trails. We were impressed with the cleanliness and how well setup the property was in general and for cooking. The only critique we had was the lighting. A few bulbs went out in the kitchen. I had to take a bulb from one of the living room lamps. And the lighting over the stove is very poor....

'Great accommodations for family. Kitchen, dining area (large table), bedrooms, beds & bathrooms were great. Outside decks were wonderful places to sit and talk. Downsides are number of steps, very difficult parking & initial musty smell. May book again.'

'We absolutely love this cozy cabin! It was perfect for our family! Check in was easy and the house had everything we needed!!! Beds were comfy which was a huge plus!! Would definitely stay here again and our friends stayed 5 houses down which was awesome!! Also we were able to walk everywhere which was super convenient!! Thanks for a great visit!!'

'We had many issues with this rental: 1. Dishwasher leaking water all over the ground 2. Broken AC 3. Hot Tub and Outside Tables not wiped down on the outside full of dirt, couldn't use outside tables 4. Patio Door handle broken making it difficult to close and lock the door that was on the street level. 5. Hot tub had a bad odor when turned on 6. LIght over Stove/Cooktop made it very difficult and unsafe to cook at night 7. Several other lights not working, making the entire house dark. 5....

'We went there as two couple and a single adult. The house is as described in the listing. Even though it has the sq footage of the place, I thought it’d be bigger. For our group, it felt a little tight. The living room isn’t really set up for more than four people at the most if the TV is on. We spent most of our time on the front porch with a filtered view of lake. It was nice out there and only really hot for an hour when it was in direct sun. The grill was also nice and in good shape....

'It was clean but needed an area for food storage. A cabinet in the dining room would be great for food!! The hot rub didn't work, which was irritating, as it was not working prior to our arrival. There was no wood in the woods storage area. We got our own, but would have been nice. The parking was ample for our 2 vehicles. It was easy to get around, area was quiet. I would recommend to others for a reasonable get away!'

Good location, terrible bed, crazy high resort fee
"I visited South Lake Tahoe in the busiest part of the year: July The hotel was fully booked. The staff, though friendly, were extremely busy and didn't have time to give the guest attention. The resort fee for 3 days of over a 100 dollars (!) was just crazy. It's just extra money per night as if the base rate wasn't high enough for a renovated motel. A resort fee for what exactly? for use of the tiny pool? The absence of a gym? Parking motel style? The worst part of the stay was the mattress. It was absolutely horrible, I was sleeping in a hole the whole time. Probably a 30 year old mattress they didn't update alongside the renovation. Don't pick room 630 for the massive 300 dollars a night. I was dreading the nights of sleeping there. There was no way of changing rooms as it was fully booked. Coachman, please do better and place a new mattress there for new guests, they deserve it for the massive rate you're asking them to pay. You know you have the funds to do it"
