Water Front Cottage near Waterton (30 min)

Lovely 2 bedroom cottage in Cardston County just 30 min from Waterton Park, Castle Mountain and the USA boarder and just 5 min away from Waterton Reservoir. Property includes use of Waterton park pass for duration of stay. Covered back deck features view of water and includes 6 ppl patio set and BBQ - work remotely while enjoying this beautiful view! Master bedroom has built in storage cabinetry and queen bed with second bedroom featuring built in bunk beds with single on top (max 100 lbs) and double bed on the bottom. Living rooms have 2 queen sized hide-a-bed for extra sleep capacity. Comes with one full sized bathroom with tub. Perfect for seniors or people with limited mobility as only 2 steps into cottage and 1 step inside. Cottage comes equipped with internet, 3 smart tv's, bedding/pillows, towels, dishwasher, fridge, gas range, conventional microwave, bar fridge, BBQ, Keurig coffee maker with pods, window AC unit in kitchen (summer season only), washer/dryer and electric fireplace in living room. Cottage also comes stocked with kitchen supplies such as pots, pans, dishes, toaster, cutlery, spices, coffee/tea, and condiments. Extra long driveway available to accommodate up to 3 vehicles. Fire pit with wood provided in back yard also available for use. Lake on property is available for non motorized vehicles only in the summer and skating and snowshoeing in the winter (swimming not recommend). 1 adult sized and1 kid size kayaks available for use (please bring own life jackets).

RV 50amp plug available along driveway for an additional charge.

Nearest major grocery and liquor store is approx 30 min away - recommend pre-purchasing items prior to arrival.

Great lakefront property with lots of activities. The fire pit and kayak were great features to enjoy in the afternoon and in the evening. The property is clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped. We had a wonderful stay.

The cabin itself was amazing. Lots of amenities and nice big kitchen and sitting area. The deck was very big and had large table with a propane barbecue. Sleeping was a bit of a challenge with adults and no children, but we found beds for everyone. The bunk bed room is extremely small. Not a lot to do tight around cabin. So did need to drive yo sights like Waterton. All in all a great place to stay.

Nice spot!

The check-in process was so easy. The place was clean and had all the amenities. The bed was comfortable. The area is so quiet and peaceful. We were able to have a fire each night. It was nice to watch the birds on the water and see so many stars at night.

Perfect little get-a-way

Such a lovely little house in an unexpected place. We had absolutely everything we needed for a most cozy and comfortable stay. We loved our mornings spent doing yoga by the water(rocky but manageable) with the sound of the wildlife waking up around the pond.Waterton Park is a nice, maybe 20 minute drive and the provided park pass was a nice, convenient touch. We will definitely book here again when we go back in the fall for some Crypt Lake hiking.Thank you for being such gracious hosts!

Awesome hide away

We were very pleasantly surprised at the location, very scenic and serene. The cabin was the most comfortable VRBO we've rented in a longtime very clean along with very comfortable beds. Everything was supplied, the only issue was we could only be there for 3 days. We definitely will try to rent this cabin the next time we're in southern Alberta. Thank you for the awesome stay.

The pictures do not do this cabin justice. The interior is larger than it appears, and it is quite cozy, with everytging needed for a short getaway location. Centered perfectly between Cardston, Waterton, and Pincher Creek for short day trips. The hosts were also generous to include a Park Pass for Waterton Lakes National Park. We have this on repeat

This is our second stay here and it was as good as our first. We will likely book here again. Stacey is an excellent host of her charming, well stocked, and CLEAN cabin! We just love the Waterton area- there are so many places to explore. We bring our bikes and our kayaks. Unfortunately we learned that Waterton National Park no longer enables watercraft from outside the Park but we ended up using our boats on the Waterton Reservoir nearby (less than 10 minutes from the cabin). While we were not surrounded by mountains like we would have been in the Park- this was still a beautiful spot to use our kayaks. We also took up Stacey's recommendation to make a reservation at the near by Twin Butte Country General Store and Mexican Restaurant. HA! That was a trip in itself if the name isn't already giving that away. Be sure to check it out. Thanks again Stacey- we will likely be booking again next year and look forward to more new things that we can explore while we enjoy your hospitality!
