Enjoyed a great stay in a lovely home. Would definitely recommend. Was perfect for our quick getaway with family friends. Everyone had their own room! Very spacious and great that it is pet friendly. Communication with the host was great. Very quickly replied to all of my inquiries.

Kayla was a wonderful host - very welcoming, responsive and helpful. My family of 8 adults and 4 little kids (ages 3-8) stayed here for the long Thanksgiving weekend and had so much fun! It was also nice that Kayla allowed us to bring the 2 "grand-dogs". The house is clean, beautifully decorated, and smells so good! There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and we had everything we needed as the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are well stocked. The sunset views are spectacular and the large upper deck was really nice! I love that there is a large table outside as well as inside as we always had plenty of room for everyone to hang out. We made smores by the firepit and the kids had so much fun. They also enjoyed walking down close to the water to find shells.It was really awesome to have my whole family under one roof for the holiday weekend and we enjoyed our time here so much! I highly recommend this house and we would definitely come back! My only regret is that we didn't think to rent the boat sooner, but next time.... :)

The place is a real beauty and we 100% loved our stay. We really hope to come back again one day soon. The only thing that would make this even better would be a boat dock or platform to swim off of, but besides that its perfect.

Great location, great views

This property was everything promised on its ad. The house has finely located and excellently equipped with anything a family might need. I would definitely recommend this prosperity to family and friends. The only issue is the low water levels but other than that we truly enjoyed our stay and vacation overall.

Great vacay!

Property was ample and clean. Many stairs to upstairs master bedroom and down to double room (spiral staircase not for the faint of heart): not a problem for us, but keep in mind. Access to lake was easiest we’ve had as there were no steps, but water being low made it a trek. Wear good shoes to get there. Overall the house suited our needs: two couples, three young adults, and two dogs. Was glad to have our leaf blower to fill up floats and blow the bugs off the porch every morning.

Amazing views!

We spent Thanksgiving here with extended family and each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was perfect. The views are amazing from the main floor and the deck and our dog loved running down to the beach. The house and living room furniture are “well loved” and the couches & chairs may need to be replaced in 2024 but the beds, linens and towels were all wonderful. Communication with the host was easy and responses were prompt. We would stay here again for sure!

Nice well appointed house, shore lime is not conducive to swimming or playing in water as it is muddy and has vegetation. I believe the water level has been at the low level for some time so thee boat ramp is down the street is misleading since Ramp #7 is closed due to low water.

Perfect Getaway House

We will definitely be back! The house was perfect for my family! The only down fall is the spiral stairs to go to the down stairs bedroom and off the deck. They are not easy to maneuver. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Could use more kitchen and bath towels. Spacious and beautiful! Place was amazing!

Great Get-A-Way with beautiful views

The occasion was a small family reunion with 7 adults attending and staying. The house was as shown in the pictures. Multiple decks to take in the great views of the lake. Everyone had their own private bedroom, and the beds were comfortable. The firepit on the main covered deck worked fine as did the propane grill. The kitchen had 2 dishwashers but only one of them was operational. The metal spiral staircases were a bit of a challenge for us, but we all managed. It was a short walk to the lake down a fairly severe sloped concrete walkway, but the rope railing helped. Very relaxing stay overall and would recommend this house for a great get-a-way.

Nice Family Vacation

It’s a nice location with a fantastic view. Lots of pros (view, lake front, close to marina, spacious living area and big back patio/porch, open kitchen, ample parking, accommodate a lot of people) and a few cons (no or few dressers or shelves in bedrooms, need more hangers, a few hiccups with appliances but were addressed promptly, need non-slip tub mat, access to beach is very steep and not everyone was able to manage it, one stackable W/D for a lot of people is tough, internet was lagging at times). We would certainly stay here again though!! The owners and managers were very friendly and responsive. Thank you for sharing your home!

Very comfortable house for our group of six. Water pressure & A/C are great. Kitchen well-stocked. Hung out at water with our swim tent, chairs & floats and had a ball. Owner very responsive. Would stay here again.

Fun Family Trip!

This is our second time to stay in this lovely home, and we have another trip planned here again later in summer. The house and views are spectacular; pictures are very accurate. Easy parking for several cars. If any troubles arise, the manager and/or owner are super responsive and helpful. They are the main reason we will keep coming back. The comfortable beds, tons of towels, and 4 bathrooms make staying here easy. The kitchen had everything we needed. There's no ice maker, so we put bags of ice in freezer and that worked perfect. The walk down to the lake will get your heart pumping but is fine even for our grandparents. The gates on the steep or spiral staircases are great to have for little ones or even clumsy adults. There is not a "yard" type space to really use, but we are there for the water and take our floats down to the shore when not on a boat. We spent most of our time on the deck when not on the lake. I loved not having TVs in the bedrooms because it seemed we all stayed together more instead of going off to our own rooms. Can't wait to go back.

Such A Beautiful House

The layout is perfect to allow everyone their own privacy at night and the house was very clean and well maintained. Shopping within 6-10 minutes for any last minute items. Patio is perfect for dinners, games, s’mores in the firepit, and the best views both day and night. Everyone in the group had an amazing weekend and truly enjoyed all that Dockside Daphne had to offer.

Perfect for family to stay and host a shower

The house is more than what the pictures show. The host is very quick to reply with any questions and very accommodating. The home was spot on for me and my family (including a dog) to stay. The layout was perfect for entertaining our guests while hosting the couples shower we planned. The neighbors were really nice as well! Definitely would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Family Reunion plus Two Birthdays

The pictures alone showed us this was a place to have fun, relax, enjoy family, and make memories! And, it was...exactly as showcased. Plenty of wonderful natural light with fabulous views. Short walk everyone from age 2-6 could head down to the waters edge. Our 2 springer spaniels romped a bit. Inside...clean, welcoming, professionally decorated, plenty of dishware, pots/pans, utensils, refrigerator and 2 dishwashers! Definite property to return! 5+ Stars!
