'Unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel. The buildings are very old and the rooms don't even have a mini fridge — in a hot destination like Cancun, having no way to keep water cold in your room is a real problem.
The location is also a major downside. It's far from everything you'd actually want to do in Cancun, and any taxi ride costs at least $50, which adds up quickly.
The food was basic and not tasty. I was looking forward to fresh tropical fruit, but what was offered didn't look fresh...

-dinner is only from 6-10 which would be fine if you could get seated/served quick which is not possible with about 2 servers at each restaurant and 45-60 minute wait to get seated.
-Only 1 bartender at each bar, only saw 1 drink runner at main pool
-all bars close at 11 except club bar until 1 am
-dj only 1 day all other days was preset playlist of house music remixes of American pop music
-they have cocobongo sellers harassing you by every...

'for a 4 star hotel I expect a lot more. staff was not able to provide an invoice with the company name, required for reimbursement (business travel). you have to pay credit first to have something written to your room. a blockage on the credit card was not possible in order to have everything the the room invoice. Receipts where not provided for whatever you ate or drank. not worth the money we paid but is was close to the congress. '
