'Everything was absolutely fine. There's even a shower room for the dog! Now and then, the traffic on the main road was noisy, which kept the dog awake on the terrace. But inside, we all couldn't hear the noise and were very relaxed.'

'The location is close to many white peak walks. The accommodation is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and two bathrooms with powerful showers. Jo, the owner welcomed on arrival and was incredibly helpful when we needed her advice. Will certainly look to visit again'

'Great base to explore the Peak District, Nice clean and well maintained property on a farm with a friendly peacock that comes to the back door each morning for breakfast. The farm owners gave us a warm welcome and some chocolate biscuits on arrival. We will definitely be booking again.'

'We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in Vicarage cottage. Het huis is erg gezellig en het was ruim genoeg voor ons gezin van vier. De omgeving is werkelijk prachtig! We hebben Chrome Hill beklommen, echt een aanrader. En ook de Honesty Shop op loopafstand was een grote plus. Heerlijke ijsjes!'

'Nice place to stay when visiting nearby towns, very spacious apartment which made for a very relaxed feel. Pleasant village with pub below. Handy having a kitchen as food options are limited. Noise from the pub wasn't too bad but it was quite noisy from the kitchen below the kids room, which had music on loud! We had to put kids to bed in the other room then move them back in later in the evening. '
