B&B in Buntingford

'A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.'

'Vriendelijke mensen en nette kamers'

'Overall the place was clean, but definitely needs some renovation. The television did nit work properly, the bathroom is outdated and the door didn’t close properly. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was also decent wifi but the choice of what to watch on the television waa quite limited with no satellite. Decent place for a short stay.'

'great hostess, cozy atmosphere, prefect breakfast, great communications'

'A'

'The property is quaint/unusual. Not easily seen from the road if arriving in the dark. Provisions given in the room and the landing were excellent and fabulous location for Stansted airport. However, on opening the front door noted that the hall carpet was slightly worn and the room allocated had a shower in the room rather than the bathroom. Otherwise very comfortable stay and would book again, but request a room with a definite bathroom.'

'Het was een fijn ontvangst met direct persoonlijke aandacht Heb een heerlijk Engels ontbijt ontvangen en zij waren ook hulpvaardig en zorgzaam. Ze hebben mij goed vooruit geholpen met het fysieke ongemak wat ik had en namen de tijd om mij vooruit te helpen. Daarvoor dank, Sjak'

'Good digs, lots of good pubs about.'

'A little gem! Hospitable, great food, well stocked bar, comfortable bed and a good shower. Parking a little sketchy if you're arriving after dark, but a good welcome, clear instructions and helped up the stairs to my room. Dog welcome too (no charge). Simon the landlord is the proper English gentleman, the pub is a well-established proper English pub, and I'd thoroughly recommend a stay here for a reasonably (sensibly) priced base if you're visiting this part of the world on holiday or on...

'Just a short one night stay for our night before our flight out of Stansted. Great little find, just 30 mins from the airport but a lovely peaceful location. The host had left provisions for breakfast which was totally unexpected but made a real difference to our stay. Would recommend for for a short stay away from it all.'

'The rooms were simple & comfortable but the check in process was pretty poor. Dinner & breakfast were just about ok but we were rushed out of the breakfast room at 10.10 & asked to leave the hotel asap for the cleaners to start work. Overall I can give this property no more than 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️'

'Van de buitenkant een leuke inn. Binnenkant beneden erg verouderd. Servies wordt niet goed schoon gemaakt. Veel herrie tot savonds laat. Afstandelijk personeel. Veel dronkaards (gasten) die schreeuwen en glazen stuk gooien. Verbouwingen zonder waarschuwing vooraf. Wij komen NOOIT meer terug. '

'Great rooms, really quiet and convenient location'

'The location is a bit out of the way and it could be cleaner, but for the price I am not going to complain. There is an electric kettle and a microwave available in the breakfast room.'

Enkel glas in slecht sluitende ramen. Niet heel best.'
