'We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. '

'Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival.'

'Had a lovely welcome by the family on arrival. Shown to our room which was beautiful, a real room with a view. Sunday lunch was absolutely amazing. Full of flavour and lots of it. Slept like a log, followed by a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Will definitely be returning very soon '

'Lovely quiet peaceful location with parking and only a short walk to the town and beach , the staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was stunning and the bar was comfortable with enough choice of drinks. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again ( might even take up golfing) '

'The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good.'
